Mapping/GIS Technical Support Analyst – Ireland

We are currently looking to fill the permanent role of GIS/Mapping Technical Support Analyst.  The principle duties of the successful candidate will be providing KOREC customers with training and technical support on our mapping solutions.

This is a field and office based role covering all of Ireland.  When not visiting customers the role allows for working from home or working from KOREC’s main office in Dublin.  As such the candidate would be located within commuting distance of the Dublin office.

A qualification or experience in the GIS/Mapping field (or similar) would be an advantage.  Knowledge/experience of the survey or construction/civils industry would also be an advantage although not strictly necessary.

Full training on all products will be provided by KOREC.

The successful candidate will be organised and motivated with an aptitude for problem solving and handling IT issues.  The ability to work as part of the KOREC Technical Support Team and to communicate well with customers is key to the role.

Given the travel requirements a driving license is required for the role.
