It has been brought to our attention that the Ordnance Survey UK are planning to perform maintenance work on their OSNet active GNSS base station system. This will impact all systems related to the OSNet, including Trimble’s VRS Now amongst other GNSS network RTK correction systems in use within the UK. Anyone who uses Trimble office software to process GPS data relies (even though they may not know it) on the antenna.ini file stored on their PC to allow TGO, TBC, etc to recognise the antennae that were used to receive the data during the survey. Without this file it becomes necessary to enter all of the antenna phase centre offset information, and other antenna specific data, by hand in the software.
