Trimble Catalyst is a software-defined GNSS receiver that runs on Android-powered smartphones and tablets.
Using Catalyst requires a Catalyst DA2 antenna and a subscription (either monthly unlimited use, or hourly pay-per-use) to the Trimble Catalyst service.
Catalyst provides precise positioning (down to 1cm) for any location-enabled app on the Play Store through the Android location service, and can be embedded directly into applications through the Trimble Catalyst Precision SDK.
