This course is suitable for those new to processing scan data using Trimble RealWorks. It is assumed that those attending are familiar with the concept of laser scanning for the creation of point clouds as a source for data extraction.

 

Taught by experienced KOREC Trainers, the course covers:

  • Data import and checks
  • Scan registration and georeferencing
  • Cloud editing
  • Cloud product creation and reports

 

By the end of the course, participants will be able to register and process scan data within Trimble RealWorks.

  • Register scan data both internally and to external coordinates
  • Utilise Scan Explorer to extract scan data to RealWorks
  • Use the Segmentation & Sampling tools to manage scan data
  • Create orthoimages and create line work
  • Mesh and compute volumes
  • Produce a Floor Flatness Report
  • Create a cloud to model inspection
  • Perform basic 3D solid modelling
  • Export data to CAD
  • Create media files
