To fly a drone that weights more than 250g you must have a Flyer ID (https://register-drones.caa.co.uk/drone-code/getting-flyer-id) and either an A2 Certificate of Competence or full General Visual Line of Sight Certificate. You’ll also need an Operational ID (for any commercial work).
