A Trimble Robotic Total Station is used as the primary survey device on this three-day course designed to introduce the novice to basic topographic survey procedures.
The course begins by introducing some basic survey principles and the Robotic Total Station. Stationing methods are practised, from which a number of exercises develop the topographic survey method. During the course coded data are downloaded and drafted for export to CAD or print, plus the generation of survey reports.
This course is perfect for those new to topographic land survey as an initial step into the workflows and theory involved.
Over the coming weeks, we're going to be asking prominent people in the survey industry to outline their three most rated geospatial industry innovations/changes in around 100 words or so...and anything goes! Read More
