GEDO CE Track Measuring Device with GEDO Rec Course

Prev Next

The Trimble GEDO CE track measuring system comprises of a track measuring device (TMD) driven by GEDO Rec software running on a Trimble TSC2 or TSC3 controller.  The system is designed to facilitate rapid and precise track surveys.

Sensors on board the TMD provide position, gauge and cant data simultaneously which are reduced, displayed and stored within the GEDO Rec software.

The course covers the methodology and options available for the track survey. The GEDO Rec software and TSC3 controller are introduced.   The GEDO Rec software is used to calibrate a TMD and a survey is performed using both stop & go and kinematic methods.  Off track topo points are also collected and the optional Profiler used to collect additional information.

The concept of using two total stations to increase survey efficiency is considered and maintenance of the TMD reviewed.
