Trimble Access is the Survey Division controller software for driving total station, GNSS and scanner surveys. Trimble Access is available on the TSC2 and TSC3 field controllers and the M3 total station.

Trimble Business Center is Trimble’s primary software platform for processing GNSS and total station survey data. In addition to the raw data processing functions, tools are provided to draft and print surveys as plan drawings. Create surface models, alignments and corridors and to inspect data in 3D.

RealWorks is Trimble's post processing software for data captured by laser scanner and the VX Spatial Station. Whilst scanning has a massive WOW factor, it is ultimately limited unless it is possible to get suitable deliverables from a point cloud to something a client can use. RealWorks makes this process incredibly quick and simple and this course covers the use of the RealWorks Survey Standard software to achieve this aim.

Realworks is Trimble’s post processing software for data captured by laser scanner and the VX Spatial Station. In addition to scan data from Trimble devices, RealWorks is also able to import and process data from other scanners, particularly the FARO Focus3D. This two day course includes all the items covered in the RealWorks Standard course on day one. On day two, the additional functionality found within the Survey Advanced and Modeler modules are explored.

GeoSite is a comprehensive yet easy to use land survey data processing and drafting software package. It incorporates a powerful traverse adjustment module, incorporating conventional methods and least squares adjustment options. GeoSite is also commonly used for the creation and editing of surface models and related earthworks volumes computations.

This 3 day course provides a good overview in the operation of GPS/GNSS survey equipment for the general user. GNSS equipment is on the whole very easy to use, but care must be taken to understand how it works and whether what is being delivered is valid.

To maintain accuracy when surveying & setting out it is critical that the total station and related accessories are in good order and performing to their specification.

The Trimble VX Spatial Station captures photography and basic point scans for processing within the RealWorks software package. The combination of photography combined with reference scan points makes it easy to extract information from the data as measurements, polylines, meshes and CAD models. This hardware and software combination is particularly useful for elevation surveys and volume surveys.

The Faro Focus3D laser scanner combines portability and ease of use to provide a unique scanning system. This two day course provides an introduction to the scanner and the associated SCENE software. The scanner hardware options and target types are reviewed, followed by some scanning basics and safety issues.

The GEDO CE Track Measuring System comprises a Track Monitoring Vehicle and recording software. Position, Gauge & Cant are all recorded simultaneously. The Track Measuring System works with the Trimble S Series and SPS Total Stations to provide the positioning information. The course covers the operation of the Track Monitoring Vehicle using two Total Stations, the use of the controller software and data download.

The course is designed to cover basic principles and theory through to the use of an instrument, the different ways to book data, how to use a staff and how to make sure the data is reduced correctly. Sources of error in particular are considered so that wherever possible error can be avoided or mitigated.

The demand for the production of digital plans for rural, urban and interior areas is growing rapidly. The Surveyor was once a unique professional who took on these responsibilities solely. With our rapidly changing landscapes this skill has become a must have for a wider range of professionals including Architects, Police and Archaeologists. The course is designed to cover basic principles and theory through to setting up an instrument, measuring site features and producing a plan.

KOREC introduce a range of training courses aimed at enabling the Collision Investigator to get the best use from their Trimble survey kit. Courses have been designed for Collision Investigators at all levels of experience.
