This course is ideal for those looking to brush up on or extend their GPS Mapping skills since their original training. During the course the background theory of GPS is tested and explored further. A review is made of your organisations GPS hardware, including any improvements, updates or new functionality made available since your initial training.
The functionality of the field and office based software is reviewed and any updates, extensions or bug fixes discussed. Field based data capture procedures are revised, including any tips and short cuts that may assist you. If you have experienced any difficulties during the data capture phase, this provides an ideal opportunity to analyse them with a trainer present with the aim of improving future field work. Finally a catch up sessions provides the opportunity to cover any items that were omitted during the initial training due to time constraints or weather conditions.
