Trimble® FastMap Office is a desktop GIS application that is designed to work in conjunction with the FastMap Mobile data collection application.
Trimble® FastMap WorkFlow is a data management package that allows easy transfers of data to and from your data logger and to and from third party GIS/CAD applications. WorkFlow also handles map conversion and data collection planning, which is all covered in a series of training exercises.
For more precise data collection and greater data collection functionality, Trimble® FastMap Tablet is the product to use. FastMap Tablet is generally used for data collection on a tablet p.c. and often in conjunction with high precision receivers.
This course is for those proficient in ESRI formats and Geo-databases in conjunction with GPS data collection. An initial hardware overview is followed by project setup for Trimble® GPS Analyst and enabling Geo-databases and accuracy requirements.
For those users who have chosen Trimble® TerraSync/Pathfinder Office, the training involves a standard initial equipment overview followed by an in-depth session on project management and mission planning in Pathfinder Office.
This course is ideal for those looking to brush up on or extend their GPS Mapping skills since their original training. During the course the background theory of GPS is tested and explored further. A review is made of your organisations GPS hardware, including any improvements, updates or new functionality made available since your initial training.
