You can use the TrimPix Pro Configuration Centre software, which is installed on your desktop computer, to configure the Eye-Fi Pro card and deploy the TrimPix Pro software onto multiple Trimble handhelds. Then simply take a photo with your digital camera and it is wirelessly transferred to your handheld.
With the TrimPix Pro system, any brand and specification of camera can be used for desired zoom, resolution and image quality, as long as it supports an SDHC card. This flexibility allows you to match the right camera to different types of field work. For example, recording identification information on an electricity pole may require a high-resolution 8 megapixel camera with zoom capability to capture the details, while simply documenting inspection of a field asset may only require a basic camera for an overview photograph of the scene.
