Trimble SCS900 Site Controller Software provides an easy-to-use graphical interface that enables surveyors, grade checkers, site engineers, and foremen to efficiently control and quantify site operations without relying on a contract surveyor for site measurement and stakeout. It is easy to learn and can be used with Trimble GNSS or total station equipment.

The Trimble SCS900 Site Controller Software Tablet Edition (TE) combines the easy-to-use data management system of Trimble SCS900 software with the graphics capabilities and processing power of a tablet PC.

  • View, review, and edit designs from a vehicle - Easy access to the same digital design data that is provided to crews.
  • Real time cut and fill display - Allows the supervisor to drive the site, measuring ground elevation and monitoring current cut/fill depths.
  • Tools for side slope staking, computing volumes and grade checking -
  • Enables the supervisor to conduct site prep and checking activities from inside the vehicle.
  • A simple and easy daily set-up of base station - Puts control of the GPS positioning system in the hands of the supervisor.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT FROM YOUR VEHICLE

The Trimble SCS900 Roading Module supports road and highway projects by incorporating full alignment geometry, station equations, width transitions and multiple roadways within a selected road job and in addition, the grade checking functions allow contractors to easily perform as-built checks and quality control.

The Trimble SCS900 Advanced Measurement Module captures additional information with each measured point; for example, photos, dimensions, conditions and material type add more valuable information about a feature than just its position which can be remotely sent back to the office and analyzed in Business Center.

Contractors in highways, site preparation, earthworks, landfill, waste disposal, and mining can use Trimble SCS900 Site Controller Software for checking grade and laid material thickness against elevations and tolerances, assessing as-built measurements, stockpile volumes for stake out earthworks and roads, etc.
