Spectra Laser Machine Control Key to Smoother Sports Surfaces
Contact us about this product
The system works by providing a visual guide to The Landscape Company's machine operator. Outside, the dual grade laser on a tripod emits a 360° beam of light that covers the work area. This beam is picked up by the two SPLMC LR50 receivers that clearly display the grade status. In the cab, the addition of the SPLMC CB25 Control Boxes allows the user to manually control the elevation of the blade, for balancing or rough grading using the LED indicators or at the flick of a switch to automatically control the blade for fine grading using proportional valves mounted specially on the machine. The SPLMC LR50 can also be used as a stand-alone battery operated display receiver on a variety of machines as well as part of an automatic system.
Sports surfaces must be smooth, level, free draining and able to withstand regular use and these crucial requirements demand that excavations, sub-base and drainage must be installed correctly and to precise levels. The +/- 5mm tolerance that the new Spectra Precision Laser system offers will enable The Landscape Company to create a sports pitch with the smoothest possible surface, free from undulations or depressions where water can gather.
