The Protimeter Mini is a compact, general-purpose pin type moisture meter used for assessing the moisture conditions in buildings. It can be used for making rapid moisture assessments in a wide range of building materials including wood, masonry, drywall, plaster and concrete. It has small pins, which leave a minimal mark. The numerical values represent the actual percent moisture content of wood (%MC) and the wood moisture equivalent (WME) of other materials.

The Protimeter Surveymaster is for professionals involved with the identification, management and remedy of dampness need tools that help them to identify, diagnose and monitor - i.e.: It is wet and why?

It incorporates two modes of operation - search and measure (non-invasive and pin type). Search and measure enables the user to distinguish surface moisture from sub-surface moisture, essential information when trying to establish the extent and cause of a moisture problem. Moisture level values are shown on a digital display along side a scale of colour-coded lights that indicate the moisture condition of the material.

The Protimeter Hygromaster is used for spot measurements of humidity and temperature and as a data logger for monitoring humidity and temperature trends. Quick measurements of relative humidity, dew point, mixing ratio (grains per pound/parts per million by weight) and ambient temperature are shown on a split display. Surface temperature measurements can also be measured with a surface temperature sensor, suitable for condensation risk assessment and diagnosis.

Two types of humidity probes are offered for use with the HygroMaster. The HygroStick in optimized for measuring humidity in the 30-100% rh range and may be used with Protimeter humidity sleeves that are used when measuring the equilibrium relative humidity of solid walls and floors. The HumiStick is a fast responding sensor with a range of 1-100% rh making it more suitable for general air quality applications, including outputs from dehumidifiers and HVAC systems. The Protimeter Moisture Measurement System (MMS) is a complete moisture measurement device for use in many different building related industries. The MMS combines pin type and non-invasive modes of measurement together with a thermo-hygrometer in one state-of-the-art instrument. The instrument is compact and simple to use, having a large liquid crystal display and a cluster of just four buttons for selecting the operational modes.

When used as a moisture meter, the MMS Plus has two operational modes known as Search and Measure. By selecting Search mode and holding the instrument against building materials such as walls, the user obtains a qualitative indication of the moisture level beneath the surface or under a floor covering. By selecting Measure mode and using the standard pin or 5" deep wall probes to gather further information at the surface and up to 5" in depth below the surface. The Hygrometer function can measure relative humidity, ambient temperature and dew point. Moisture conditions of domestic and commercial environments can be assessed and compared. Also can confirm the presence of condensation on surfaces. One-year parts and labour warranty.
