The GE Protimeter Mini is an inspection tool to determine the relative moisture in building elements - ie: Is it wet?
The Protimeter Mini is a compact, general-purpose pin type moisture meter used for assessing the moisture conditions in buildings. It can be used for making rapid moisture assessments in a wide range of building materials including wood, masonry, drywall, plaster and concrete. It has small pins, which leave a minimal mark. The numerical values represent the actual percent moisture content of wood (%MC) and the wood moisture equivalent (WME) of other materials. |

The Protimeter Timbermaster is a simple to use moisture meter specifically designed for the timber industry. It is ideal for a range of quality control applications associated with the production, trading and use of wood products.
This compact instrument has eight calibration scales, enabling the user to take accurate moisture measurements in 150 wood species. When necessary, it can be used with a temperature probe that automatically corrects the measured moisture level with respect to the temperature of the wood being tested. |

The Protimeter Hygromaster is used for spot measurements of humidity and temperature and as a data logger for monitoring humidity and temperature trends. Two types of humidity probes are offered for use with the HygroMaster. The HygroStick in optimized for measuring humidity in the 30-100% rh range and may be used with Protimeter humidity sleeves that are used when measuring the equilibrium relative humidity of solid walls and floors. The HumiStick is a fast responding sensor with a range of 1-100% rh making it more suitable for general air quality applications, including outputs from dehumidifiers and HVAC systems. It incorporates two modes of operation - search and measure (non-invasive and pin type). Search and measure enables the user to distinguish surface moisture from sub-surface moisture, essential information when trying to establish the extent and cause of a moisture problem. Protimeter HygroTrac provides intelligent monitoring systems that combine wireless sensor networks and a reporting Web site for 7x24 monitoring of environmental parameters such as humidity, temperature and wood moisture content that influence the integrity of building systems and critical facilities.
Small HygroTrac wireless sensors are placed into a building before or after construction, and readings are sent to the data acquisition gateway to monitor the integrity of a building structure. The data acquisition gateway is connected to a dedicated and secure web server via Ethernet or phone line. The measurements can then be viewed from any Internet connection using a secure password to access results.
