| Non-Directional Sondes are used for tracing and locating nonmetallic pipes, ducts, drains and sewers. The sonde is propelled along the pipe and is traced by a compatible receiver locating its position at intervals as it travels through the pipe allowing easy location and detection of pipe blockages and collapses. |

| A Signal Clamp allows the signal from the Digitex to be applied safely to a specific service without electrical contact. This allows tracing of live (insulated) power cables. |

The Signal Generator works in conjunction with the TOMCAT locator. There are two ways in which the Signal Generator operates the first is by applying a signal by induction, the second is by direct connection.
To operate the Signal Generator in Induction, simply stand the Signal Generator on the ground and turn the orange mode selector to the induction position. To operate the Signal Generator in Direct Connection, connect the Signal Generator to the service you wish to trace using the appropriate connection leads, select the connection mode on the Signal Generator select the generator mode on the TOMCAT and trace the service. more... |
