Surveyors Rods, also known as Multi-Fold Rules or Wooden Folding Rulers are high quality professional and general-purpose rules. Wooden rules are made of birch, from a sustainable source, which is lacquered twice to achieve hardwearing moisture resistant finish. Plastic rules are made of polyamide reinforced with 30% fibreglass, or hardwearing ABS. Cold rolled steel strip hinges treated with hypoid oil for longer life.
Graduated in inches and 1/8" on one side and cm and mm on the reverse. All graduations are precisely inscribed and permanent. The rule is six fold for measuring in restricted access areas or when working single-handed. The surveyor's rod remains rigid when extended. |
