Rise of the machines as seen in NCE

The 14 July issue of NCE featured an article on the issue of machine control for construction activities. On the 23rd August, KOREC customer Nick Caulfield of Caulfield  Contractors, an Essex based family owned company that specialises in installing drainage systems, responded to this piece in an NCE viewpoint column and explained why he decided to invest in Trimble machine control for future growth and how this technology has contributed to the work he is doing on the M25 widening project. KOREC wins substantial Hydrex order for Trimble Machine Control

KOREC is delighted to announce that it has won a substantial order from Hydrex, a leading specialist plant and equipment rental company, that operates throughout the UK. The order, which includes five Trimble GCS900 Machine Control Systems, will supplement the three GCS900 systems already owned by Hydrex and effect the upgrade of three further Trimble 2D systems to 3D. The new systems will be fitted on five Komatsu D41 road/rail dozers and used by the company’s Rail Services Division. Quattro / Network Rail Open Day

Braving the cold, blustery and extremely wet weather Cumbria has to offer, KOREC have recently supported a successful open-day in Carlisle for Network Rail. Put on by Quattro Plant, the open-day objective was to demonstrate to Network Rail’s upcoming maintenance and renewals teams how the newest rail technology can benefit them. KOREC have supplied Quattro plant with numerous state-of-the-art Machine Control systems over recent history, and to showcase Trimbles talents a Trimble GCS900 UTS system was equipped on one of Quattro’s D41 Komatsu dozers.
