At the end of the 3 day GNSS training course run this past week in Huntingdon, a little time was spent going through how to check the optical plumb on the tribrach. We spend a great deal of time making sure that when we establish new control points using GNSS that the processing is done to a high degree of precision. However during the course of the survey the antenna is generally mounted in a tribrach on top of a tripod.
