KOREC is delighted to announce that Dominic Gregrory has been appointed to the position of Survey Sales Consultant for Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and the North East. Dominic has over 11 years of site based experience in surveying and project management roles and has gained extensive hands-on experience of both GPS and Optical instruments in his previous positions for Halcrow, Jacobs and Tata. At the end of the 3 day GNSS training course run this past week in Huntingdon, a little time was spent going through how to check the optical plumb on the tribrach. We spend a great deal of time making sure that when we establish new control points using GNSS that the processing is done to a high degree of precision. However during the course of the survey the antenna is generally mounted in a tribrach on top of a tripod.
