In previous years it has proved the perfect showcase for the introduction of Trimble instruments to a main stream audience…and now it will be introducing UAV technology as well in the form of SenseFly’s Swinglet CAM. Galliford Try are the contractors on the £300 million Scotswood regeneration project, a 62-hectare scheme in the west end of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and will carry out most of the £19m-worth of site preparation work.  Of course a job like this is a perfect showcase for the Trimble SPS range of products and PQS Survey were quick to introduce Galliford Try to both KOREC and Trimble’s SPS882 GPS and TSC3 logger with SCS900 Site Controller software on board.
