Time Team investigates with UAV

Back in May last year we posted a blog publicising the SenseFly Swinglet CAM featuring on Channel 4’s Time Team. This week was the premier of that episode. KOREC’s Mapping Consultant Martyn Palmer was on set to demonstrate the UAV and explained to Tony Robinson how it works. The Swinglet uncovered some vital clues for the project. The time team usually use helicopters to capture their aerial photography however this time opted for new technology instead. When it comes to mapping in difficult conditions, Trimble’s ProXRT GNSS system comes out on top!
