Continuing with our drive to provide specialist solutions for the rail sector we have now confirmed our attendance at Infrarail 2012 which takes place May 1-3 at the NEC in Birmingham. Earlier this year Matthew Lock took on a specialist role as KOREC’s Rail Consultant, a move that reflected our commitment to approach markets from the customer’s perspective. KOREC have experience of working on live railways as well as on greenfield sites, and the Trimble systems enable contractors to deliver projects on time, despite ever tightening schedules. Matthew will be joined at Infrarail by Trimble’s own rail experts and they will be available throughout the show to discuss how Trimble’s specialist rail solutions can help today’s rail engineer or surveyor.
Following on from his successful presentation at Infrarail 2010 Matthew will again be presenting one of the show’s popular Technical Seminars, organised by The Rail Engineer Magazine. This year Matthew will follow Wednesday’s Keynote from London Rail’s Chief Operating Officer Howard Smith, and will be presenting a seminar entitled: Optimising the Rail Lifecycle – How Trimble positioning solutions can help. Matthew has worked closely with the Trimble team to gain approval for the use of their systems for use by Network Rail on all its infrastructure, he will share this experience as well as discussing examples of how organisations such as Network Rail, Balfour Beatty Rail and Colas Rail are using Trimble systems on their rail projects.
KOREC and Trimble will be located on stand A72, just opposite the show’s popular ‘Yard’ feature, you can register to attend for free on the Infrarail registration website. We hope to see you there!
