My Data Transfer update didn’t work…

It has been noted that, in some circumstances, running the Data Transfer v1.49 update does not do all that is necessary to download and convert every combination of file transfers available. In the event that the same “database version wrong” error continues to appear after running the Trimble Data Transfer v1.49 installation it will be necessary to do the following: Browse to http://www.trimble.com/tsc_ts.asp?Nav=Collection-63178 then run “Step 1: Trimble Data Transfer” AND “Step 2: Update Office Software”. If your browser does not support direct installation using the “one-click install” function on Trimble’s webpage it may be necessary to download the files to your computer first… Read More

Then under Start menu > Settings> Connections > Connections > Add new modem connection Enter a name for the connection Choose ‘Internal Celluar Modem’ (if using a SIM in the device! ) It… Read More

Downloading via Data Transfer

Just had Survey Controller on your data logger updated? Getting an error similar to the following when trying to download you surveys? “Database error; expects 12.40, actual 12.46″. Then it’s time to update your Trimble DataTransfer utility.
